This rock tumbler has not only been so much fun for my ten year old son but for me (his mother) as well! We love to see the beautiful stone that goes in looking like a normal nothing rock to coming out a smooth polished beautiful gemstone! The price is great and it comes with everything you need. You can later buy rough rocks on amazon and refills to keep your rock collection going. It is a bit loud, so we put ours in the garage. It's been a lot of fun for us as a whole family!
