Product Description

We hate when our favorite beverage loses its frosty (or piping hot) goodness before we can fully enjoy it. That's why we over-engineered our Rambler Tumblers with kitchen-grade 18/8 stainless steel and double-wall vacuum insulation. Rambler Tumblers keep ice 2X longer than plastic tumblers and are designed for maximum ice retention - and work just as well for hot beverages. Rambler Tumblers are BPA free, including the crystal clear lid, so you can gauge the level of your frosty beverage as it slides down the pipe.

Product Features

Holds 30 Ounces Of Liquid

Can be used for both hot and cold liquids

Made of kitchen-grade 18/8 stainless steel

This is one of those products that lives up to its stellar reviews. I didn't really expect it to be THAT good, but it really is. I work in sales and drive to several locations a day where my drink sits in my car for a couple of hours at a time in the hot sun. Not only will this cup hold ice in a soda in the car, but after several hours in my oven of a car, the soda still tastes like it did with little to no perceptible ice melt in it. At the end of the day, there's still enough ice in it to put in another drink and use it until bed time. I can't understand how this thing works but it's like magic. Several people have bought one of these just because they were so impressed with how mine works. I did see one reviewer talking about the rubber seal around the lid and it's potential to lose its grip over time, and I suppose that's possible since it happened with another travel cup I had a few years ago. For that reason, I hope Yeti makes a lid available for purchase separately. Straws would probably fit in the hole, but big straws may not without flattening a little. I don't use straws so I'm just guessing about that. Another note: remember that this cup doesn't have a top that closes and seals. The lid is mainly designed to hold in the temperature and prevent sloshing out. The hole you sip through will allow liquid to pour out if you turn the cup over. That's not a con, but a pro. I don't like cup tops that completely close. I think that closing lids are harder to clean and they're just unnecessary. I'm not a child and I can make it through my day without spilling a drink, at least on most days that is. Now that I've said that, I'll probably spill the entire cold contents in my lap today. :-)I’ll admit I was skeptical at first when my roommate boasted about his amazing shiny new cup and all of its’ wonders. I didn’t get what the big hype was over a mug. How could this cylindrical piece of metal do so much? I decided I’d purchase one just to see what the noise was all about. I tested this little gem out myself and boy was I in for a surprise.Durability, man this thing is sturdy. If you were to launch a Nokia 3310 and a Yeti Rambler at each other at high speed the impact would create a super-massive black hole and the universe would cease as we know it. After drop testing this thing from 1 flight of stairs I realized I could go even further and drop it off a roof of a 5 story building. Although the sidewalk will need repair and I won’t name the building or the street, I will apologize to the owner of the white Nissan I managed to nail with the lid at such a high velocity. I do hope that scratch comes out.A few minor scratches later it was time to test how long ice could sit in this thing before melting. After a many hours of waiting and checking it seemed this test would take too long for my patience to even keep up with. I figured I could speed things up a bit by putting a flame to this guy. After charring the outside of this now scratched and dented tin can I really began to understand why this mug was such an awesome buy. The ice did begin to melt after a while but the water it left behind was cold and refreshing despite the now smokey exterior of this amazing Yeti Rambler. My conclusion,If you are ever in need of a mug that can serve as a backup weapon on an adventure while blocking a hail fire of bullets and still keep your drink cold through the standoff, this mug is for you!I like to drink water to stay hydrated throughout the day, but I am very particular in that the water needs to be cold or very cold for me to enjoy it. I've tried a couple of stainless steel insulated water bottles in the past and have had mixed success with finding something that would keep my water cold for long periods of time. I had read and heard that the YETI Ramblers are famous for keeping drinks hot & cold for long periods of time so I've had my eye on them for a while. I'm not a big fan of the lid with the open hole to drink out of so it held me back from buying one, but a co-worker of mine said that YETI makes a lid and straw that fits the Rambler. Lo and behold there was such a thing so I finally took the plunge and got one. I've been using it for a couple of weeks now and I have to say that I'm very happy with it. I only drink water out of it, and will probably continue to do so, and it's keeps it very cold. I load it up with ice to start the day and just add water throughout the day. Now it's just getting into winter time now, so I don't know if it will be different when the summer comes our way. But for now I have to say that I'm very pleased with the YETI Rambler and would recommend it if you are looking for something to keeps your drinks very cold for a long time.I love my Yeti cup. It is large and holds so much. Things stay hot and cold depending on what you put in it. I love using it by the pool in the summer because my ice stays whole for quite a long time even in the GA sun. I rarely use it for hot as I am not a fan of coffee. You need to make sure you take the rubber gasket off from around the lid every time you clean the cup. If you don't it gets nasty and turns to mold. You will want to throw up the first time you clean it. No one told me and I didn't know so I think I waited a month before I realized the rubber came off. Ugh. Other than that, this is a great cup and a reusable stray still pits in the slit of the lid.Lost my old oneI've had this Yeti 30oz tumbler for 5 years now. My wife gave it to me as a gift. When she boarded the price was dirt cheap so we instantly thought it may have been a fake. The cup itself has never given me a problem. Cold drinks last all day in it even with a cup sitting in the hot sun. The only thing I had to replace about a year after I started using it was the plastic lid. It cracked from taking it on and off. I replaced it with a genuine Yeti straw and lid and it's lasted the remainder of the time with no issues. I still do not know if my cup is a fake but I'm completely happy with it.Absolutely brilliant cup.Keeps tea hot for at least 6 hours and keeps ice frozen for over 12 hours. Had this for almost 2 years and it's still works like a dream.Highly recommendOnly one of the two cubs i bought was working - a message to the seller got me a new one pretty quickly.
